"NO!" - to trading in people

History of School of Equal Possibilities takes beginning from the leadthrough of Allukrainian summer school - 2000 for girls-teenagers on prevention of trading in young women and girls and during subsequent years conducts preventive work in this direction in Kiev and regions of Ukraine.

The on-line tutorials of School of Equal Possibilities engulf the wide spectrum of peracute problems, perturbing society today, among them an important place is occupied by the problem of trading in people. Work is conducted on a method "equal - to equal" in various forms and directions.It, foremost, are Allukrainian summer and winter gendernye schools, where a central place is occupied by the problem of prevention of trading in people. Young leaders from the different corners of Ukraine going for an exchange experience and search of innovative forms of work.

The amount of young trainers, geared-up in Summer and Winter schools, makes over 700 persons, amount of volunteers, brought over to work for this time, 10 000 arrives at. In all regions of Ukraine they conduct informative work on prevention of trading in people, in particular by children, on warning of violence and counteraction commercial sexual exploitation of children.It is lectures, conversations, thematic discos, issue of wall newspapers, participating in informative actions, leadthrough of press-conferences, round table. The most widespread preventive work assignment is treningovaya activity on a method "equal - to equal". This method provides confiding relations between the participants/participants of training and trainer, and also does information accessible and easy for mastering.

Methods, developed SHRV, perfected constantly, included in textbooks, used for the leadthrough of trainings many NPO. Preventive work of young trainers got the high estimation of USAID, to International Organization of Migration, Academy of Assistance Education (AED), Ministry of Ukraine in matters of monogynopaedium and young people, Department of education and science, organizations of EKPat etc.In-plant training young trainers is a permanent anxiety of professional trainers-experts of international level, which are included in the command of trainers of SHRV.

In the search of new forms of work, uchasniki and participant SHRV appealed to possibilities of theater of street action. The Gendernyy interactive theater was created in 2002 (HEAT). In a that year by the volunteers of SHRV a theatrical was geared-up on prevention of trading in children: theatrical miniature, created in symbolic style, where victims of trade the imprudent white nestling play role of, in search of earthly paradise gettings in a network slaveries.

The show of theatricals is accompanied the interactive program which plugs in itself the great number of different improvisations and invites an audience to be the active participants of a stage action. Information, enabling to realize young people, is given in a playing form, as far as a problem of trading in children is actual for Ukraine and world association on the whole.

Allukrainian Summer school - 2003 on prevention of trading in children, where young trainers presented the own trainings in relation to this problem, was beginning of creation children and teenagers of unique manual for young trainers on prevention of trading in children, generalizing the personal experience of young youths and girls.Illustrations to the manual are also thought of and executed the volunteers of SHRV. Trainings on this manual on completion of Summer school passed approbation in general schools of Ukraine and constantly used in-process.

In 2003 participants and participants of School of Equal Possibilities created also the antikrizisnyy mobile center of help young people "LIGHTHOUSE" which operated on the base of a few general schools Kiev. The unicity of idea of this center consists of that consultations are given by teenagers to the teenagers on principle "equal - to equal" and on the basis of gendernoy sensitiveness. This volunteer project was acknowledged the best project of year in town Kiev.

From 2005 the experts of School study, probe and develop in Ukraine the method of forum-theater in social work, in particular in the questions of prevention of trading in people/children. This method came to Ukraine due to Britannic Advice, which provided arrival to us of specialists with long-term experience, which handed on the torches and experience our trainers.Этот процесс включает обсуждение и дебаты по поводу затронутых вопросов, тем самым активно привлекая зрителей. Методика апробирована Школой Равных Возможностей на разных социальных группах, включая колонии, ПТУ, интернаты, сеть организаций МОМ, работающих с потерпевшими от торговли людьми.Суть форум-театра состоит в том, что после презентации небольшой драмы зрителей приглашают прокомментировать основные идеи спектакля и предложить другие пути решения проблем, о которых шла речь в спектакле. Те, кто вносят предложения, приглашаются сыграть роль, и драма развивается по-новому, с другими решениями проблемы.

In that 2005 to the year School of Equal Possibilities, at support OBSE, MOM, Ministry in matters of monogynopaedium, young people and sport and row of other organizations and structures, began an annual leadthrough in Ukraine of mass kul'turno-prosvetitel'koy action "be not for sale!", which during two years simultaneously passed in Kiev and a few regions of Ukraine with bringing in of MASS-MEDIA and wide circle of creative collectives.Action "be not for sale!" found new maintenance in 2007. In decision of Ministry in matters of monogynopaedium, young people and sport of September, 29 under a slogan will "Stop trading in people!" it passed in all regions of Ukraine.
